Project Overview

The Garden Street Landscape Beautification project includes landscape improvements to the Garden Street median between Alcaniz Street and "A" Street. The project is supported by a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Landscape Beautification grant.

Past Events

  • February 10, 2022 - City Council awarded bid No. 22-002 to the Wallace Company in the amount of $564,931.80.
  • February 7, 2022 - CRA awarded bid No. 22-002 to the Wallace Company in the amount of $564,931.80.
  • January 20, 2022 - City Council adopted Supplemental Budget Resolution No. 2022-011, appropriating $150,000 towards the project from LOST IV.
  • October 27, 2020 - CRA held an open house to review the landscape plans and receive public input.
  • February 11 & 28, 2019 - CRA & City Council accepted the FDOT Landscape Beautification Program grant award.
  • September 10 & 13, 2018 - CRA & City Council authorized staff to submit a grant application for a Florida Department of Transportation Landscape Beautification Program grant funds.
