Internet Crimes Against Children

Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) detectives work to identify and arrest individuals who use the internet to abuse children. These detectives work with the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, which includes local, state and federal agencies. These detective receive specialized training in various digital forensic, to include forensic on cell phones. 

These detectives also receive reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). For more information on NCMEC. please click on the follow link NCMEC

Also, community engagement is another area these detectives use to combat internet related crimes. They will do presentations and teach people the dangers which can be found on the internet, and how to avoid those dangers. **all presentations are age appropriate**
