Community Maritime Park

  1. Pensacola Half Marathon & 5K

    October 13, 2019, 7:00 am - 12:00 pm @ Community Maritime Park

    This course was designed by locals to highlight the beauty of Pensacola and to give participants an event that they will love. The Pensacola Half Marathon starts at our Maritime park behind the Blue Wahoos stadium overlooking Pensacola Bay. You will loop through the historic North Hill community just before crossing the Bayou Chico bridge capturing marina views of both Bayou Chico and Pensacola bay. Next, the course takes you to Pensacola’s downtown through our Historic District before returning you back to Maritime Park. Course Time Limit: There is a 4 hour course limit to complete the half marathon race (~18:00/mile pace). If you are unable to continue at this pace you will be helped into the SAG wagon and will be transported to the finish line.

  2. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

    Nearly 250,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. That could be your mother, sister, daughter, your wife, or even you. We hold Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks so anyone touched by breast cancer won't have to face their diagnosis alone. We do it to raise awareness and money to fund research, support services, and early detection. We hold Making Strides events to save lives.

  3. Barktoberfest

    Pensacola Humane Society will host animal welfare organizations from across the Gulf Coast. Attendees will see all of their favorite Pensacola rescues along with Gulf Coast animal sanctuaries, preserves, and shelters. PHS will have the Humane Express full of adoptable animals looking for their furrever families, non-profit organizations of all shapes and sizes will be out sharing their important missions, and local businesses will be hosting prize drawings and give aways throughout the day! Local eateries and food trucks will keep you full, and the ECUA Quench Buggy will make sure everyone - 4- legged and 2-legged - stays hydrated. Always a huge Barktoberfest hit are the Costume Contests on the main stage in the pavillion. Owners and their pets will go paw to paw in a heated competition to see who has what it takes to become one of contest winners! Silent auctions and prize drawings!
