The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department and Humana are proud to present the 2016 Pensacola Senior Games September 10-25.
Athletes age 50 and older can compete in 23 events including archery, bocce, horse shoes, bowling, darts, track and field, tennis, swimming, and more. Whether this is your first year to compete or you are a seasoned athlete, we are sure you’ll find an event just for you!
The Pensacola Senior Games are sanctioned by the Florida Sports Foundation and is a qualifier for the 25th Annual Florida Senior Games to be held December 3-11 in Clearwater. This is also a qualifying year for the 2017 National Senior Games in Birmingham, Alabama.
Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded to each age group in each event. A closing ceremony complete with food, giveaways, and sponsor booths will be held at the Bayview Senior Center from 4 to 6 p.m. on September 25 to celebrate the accomplishments of all participants.
Participants can register at the Bayview Senior Center at 2000 East Lloyd Street. The cost is $10 for your first event which includes registration, t-shirt, and admission to the closing ceremony. Each additional event costs $1. There are additional fees for golf, bowling and cycling.
