A Pensacola man wanted in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred in January has been arrested.
David Lee Hicks, 28, was arrested this morning in Phenix City, AL by U.S. Marshals. He was wanted for robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, battery, driving with a suspended license, and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.
The incident reportedly occurred around 9:15 a.m. January 24 in the 1300 block of North J Street when a vehicle was taken at gunpoint from a 31-year-old male. The vehicle was later found crashed and abandoned blocks away from the crime scene.
