It’s time to once again unite with thousands of communities nationwide for the annual National Night Out crime and drug prevention event.
In Pensacola, National Night Out is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, at Legion Field, 1301 W. Gregory St. There is no charge to attend.
The Pensacola Police Department is hosting the event this year in conjunction with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Target, and the Community Drug and Alcohol Council.
Target is providing free school supplies and hot dogs while supplies last. There also will be activities for children, entertainment, information on various community agencies in addition to emergency responders with static equipment displays.
