Summit Boulevard Repaving to Begin May 12

Construction on a section of Summit Boulevard from Firestone Boulevard to 12th Avenue will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12. This project will include milling and repaving the existing roadway in both directions. 

The project will require lane closures throughout the day while construction is completed. One lane will remain open at all times.
 
Construction is expected to take approximately six days, weather permitting, and a city construction inspector will be monitoring the project progress daily. Every effort will be made to minimize the impact to the residential area during construction, and the project contractor will be required to implement all necessary safety precautions and measures during construction.

The Pensacola City Council awarded a contract to CW Roberts Contracting Inc. of Pensacola.
