The 2020 Census is your opportunity to shape your community’s future. Do your part. You can still complete the Census at my2020census.gov. The 2020 Census questionnaire will take about 10 minutes to complete.

The Census is the nation's once-in-a-decade headcount of every person in the United States. It will ask a few simple questions about you and everyone who is or will be living with you on April 1, 2020.

The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities including the City of Pensacola and Escambia County every year for the next decade. That funding shapes many different aspects of every community throughout the U.S., from highway planning and public transit to educational programs, fire departments and housing assistance.

The 2020 Census counts the population in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
