City Parks and Recreation Board Meeting Rescheduled
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers located on the first floor of City Hall, 222 W. Main St. Some Parks and Recreation Board Members may be attending by telephonic conferencing. Further, no public may physically be in attendance. This change in format is consistent with Executive Order 20-179 issued by Gov. Ron DeSantis and has been adopted at the direction of Council President Jewel Cannada-Wynn in consultation with the City Attorney.
Members of the public may attend and participate via live stream and/or phone only.
To watch the meeting live:To provide input:- For Open Forum, for items not on the agenda: citizens may submit an online form at cityofpensacola.com/ParksInput beginning at 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. only to indicate they wish to speak during the Open Forum and include a phone number. Staff will call the person at the appropriate time so the citizen can directly address the Parks and Recreation Board using a telephone held up to a microphone.
- For agenda items: citizens may submit an online form here cityofpensacola.com/ParksInput beginning at 7 a.m. until that agenda item has been voted upon to indicate they wish to speak to a specific item on the agenda and include a phone number. Staff will call the person at the appropriate time so the citizen can directly address the Parks and Recreation Board using a telephone held up to a microphone. Any form received after an agenda item has been voted upon will not be considered.
If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
