Please note updated dates and reasons for Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center closure.

Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center is temporarily closed to the public during the City of Pensacola event restriction period scheduled to be re-evaluated on March 11 based on COVID-19 conditions.  All center programming scheduled inside of the building has discontinued until further notice.

Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center will operate pre-existing scheduled private events only until March 11. The following building renovations will take place during the center's extended closure:

• New wood plank floor installation in ballroom
• Cardio room repurposed as a meeting space (cardio room has been relocated)
• New vinyl tile floor installation in new meeting space (former cardio room)
• Kitchen updates
• Ballroom stage refinishing

The City of Pensacola has extended the previously implemented COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines for city-permitted events through Thursday, March 11. The restrictions were initially set to expire February 28.

In accordance to newly updated event restrictions implemented by the City of Pensacola due to COVID-19, all pre-existing private events scheduled to take place at Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center through March 11 will be permitted with the following restrictions:

• Venue is limited to 25% capacity or less
• COVID-19 protocols are in place, including wearing face covering and practicing social distancing

This event restriction will remain in effect until March 11 and will be re-evaluated at that time based on current COVID-19 conditions. New event reservations scheduled to take place on or before March 11 will not be accepted. New event reservations and center programs are expected to resume March 12.
