The public is invited to join the Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce, the City of Pensacola, Escambia County and the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority for a free virtual workshop designed for businesses to establish a working relationship with their local government.

The "How to do Business with Your Local Government" workshop will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 12 at 2 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. 

To watch the meeting live and to participate virtually:

• Download the Microsoft Teams App on mobile or access Microsoft Teams from a desktop computer.
• To view minimum hardware requirements for Microsoft Teams, visit microsoft.com.
• Join the live meeting starting at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, from a laptop, desktop computer or mobile device. 
• Members of the public may comment their questions using the Q&A function during the question portion of the workshop.

Participants can learn about registering their business, procedures for bidding and procurement, and future business opportunities with local government. There will also be an opportunity for participants to present their products or services. 

The featured speakers are Jeffrey Lovingood from Escambia County, Jim Roberts, Robert Pacenta and Tony Howard from ECUA and Hosea Goodwyn from the City of Pensacola. The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.

The workshop is sponsored by Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce, the City of Pensacola, Escambia County and the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority.
