REMINDER: City to Host Arbor Day Recognition and Tree Giveaway April 29

The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department will host a tree planting ceremony in recognition of National Arbor Day on Friday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at Hitzman-Optimist Park, 3221 Langley Ave.

Six 15-gallon shade trees will be raffled off by Parks and Recreation to residents in attendance.

The City of Pensacola is proud to be recognized as a Tree City USA Community by the Arbor Day Foundation for its commitment to effective urban forest management.
