Section of Jefferson Street to Close May 18 for
FEMA Repairs 

A section of Jefferson Street at Commendencia Slip will close beginning Wednesday, May 18 for the City of Pensacola's contractor to complete FEMA repairs from Hurricane Sally damage in the area. 

The closure will begin at approximately 7 a.m. on May 18. Repairs include repairing and replacing the asphalt on Jefferson Street that was damaged by Hurricane Sally. The repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, May 20, weather permitting. 

The construction will not impact Pensacola Bay City Ferry operations.
