Boat Ramp at Sanders Beach Temporarily Closed

The boat ramp at Sanders Beach has been temporarily closed due to damage to the concrete surface that could potentially cause stability issues. Parks and Recreation maintenance staff are assessing the damage and determining what repairs are needed, but at this time we do not have a timeline for reopening. 

The boat ramps at Bayview Park, Bayou Texar, and 17th Avenue are open and available for public use. You may also find other Escambia County boat ramp locations by visiting the county's website at myescambia.com. 

The Parks and Recreation Department apologizes for any inconvenience and encourage citizens and visitors to check the status of repairs on the website at playpensacola.com or by calling the main office at (850) 436-5670 during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
