Weather forecast and reminders

We have an elevated forecast for severe weather this afternoon and this evening issued by the National Weather Service in Mobile. The main threats will be damaging wind gusts near 70 mph with tornadoes possible. 

Know what to do and where to go if/when warnings are issued for your area! **STAY WEATHER AWARE TODAY** Be sure to mointor your local media, weather raido or cell phone for any weather alerts that may be issued.

City officials continue to monitor the weather and will aim to take necessary precautions. We would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to be mindful of impending weather forecasts and access to health and safety services.

Due to the current forecast residents may experience storm water issues. However, if you see a storm drain that appears to be obstructed, please remove the obstruction.
