Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Closures

In observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, the City of Pensacola administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 16th. Emergency services such as Police and Fire will remain open to ensure public safety and health. All regular operations will resume on Tuesday, January 17th. 
 
The City's sanitation services will also be closed for the holiday. All collections normally scheduled for Monday, January 16th will be made on Tuesday, January 17th and Tuesday's collection will be made on Wednesday, January 18th. Thursday and Friday collection schedule will remain unchanged. 

On Monday, January 16th, the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade kicks off at 11am in Downtown Pensacola. Come join the Pensacola community as the celebration parades down Palafox Street in honor of Dr. King’s birthday. Break out the lawn chairs, gather up the family, and enjoy the festivities. The parade will last until 3pm, and is free to the public.

All community centers will be closed on Monday. The Roger Scott tennis center and Osceola Golf Course will remain open.
