Street resurfacing and natural gas infrastructure project update

Street resurfacing crews plan to begin milling and resurfacing East Government Street Monday morning, May 15. The work will occur on East Government Street, between South Alcaniz and South Palafox Streets.
It is anticipated that work on East Government Street will require approximately three days to complete. Construction team members will go door-to-door in advance of the work to notify property owners and tenants. On-street parking will be temporarily suspended and any vehicles left on the street will be subject to relocation.

The planned milling and resurfacing work is weather-dependent, and may be re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Questions may be referred to the city’s engineering consultant, Atkins, Inc., (850) 380-9188.
