The William J. “Red” Vickrey Resource Center is host to a number of activities. This beautiful facility is located in the heart of the Roger Scott Athletic Complex. Surrounded by Roger Scott Pool, Tennis Center and Sports Complex, this facility offers programs for the young and the young at heart.

After School Program
The City of Pensacola has partnered with the YMCA of Northwest Florida to provide after school care at Vickrey Center. This program will serve children from A.K. Suter, N.B. Cook, Cordova Park, and Scenic Heights Elementary. Transportation is provided in the program cost. Visit www.ymcanwfl.org to register.

Grades: K-5th
 Weekly Cost: $38 for YMCA members, $52 for non members

  • City of Pensacola community centers will operate at a 50% capacity. A face covering is required while in common areas of all City facilities. 
  • The City of Pensacola will not issue new event permits for indoor events at community centers through Sept. 15. Indoor events that have already been issued a permit or are in progress may continue at 50% capacity or less. New events will not be scheduled through at least Sept. 15. 
All guidelines and restrictions are effective immediately through Sept. 15 and will be re-evaluated at that time based on current COVID-19 conditions.
