The City of Pensacola (hereinafter referred to as “City”) will receive SEALED BIDS at the Purchasing Office, 222 West Main Street, City Hall Sixth Floor, Pensacola, Florida 32502, no later than 2:30 PM, local time on JANUARY 8, 2020 December 18, 2019. Any submittals received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Multiple proposals from the same entity will not be accepted. Immediately following said date and time, all submittals will be publicly opened. Interested parties are invited and encouraged to attend.

Bidders shall include with their submittal a certified check, cashier’s check, or insurance company’s bid bond, payable to the City of Pensacola in the amount of 5% of the base bid as evidence of good faith for a minimum period of six (6) months. The Owner reserves the right to hold the check or bond of the two lowest bidders until the successful bidder has entered into a contract and furnished the necessary bonds. All other checks or bonds will be returned as soon as the award has been made to the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject proposals and to waive technicalities as provided in Section 20-08 of the General Provisions.

Submittals must be clearly labeled “Bid for Terminal Apron Taxilane Relocation”. All proposals shall be sealed and marked in the manner prescribed and shall include one signed original and two additional complete copies plus one (1) complete electronic copy on USB flash drive or CD. Bids shall be sealed and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the project name, bidder's name, bidder's address, bidder's telephone number. ANY BID RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED.

Any addendum issued will be made available on the website. Interested bidders are responsible for obtaining addenda, and are advised to check the site frequently.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A Pre-Bid Conference for this project will be held on December 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM (local time) at Pensacola International Airport, Conference Room 224. This pre-bid conference is recommended to be attended by all prospective bidders. This will be the ONLY opportunity to visit the site.
