George Maiberger

George Maiberger is the Purchasing Manager for the City of Pensacola. He has served in that position since 2006. Maiberger joined the City of Pensacola in 1998 as the administrative assistant to the City Manager, after 10 years as Assistant City Manager of Gulf Breeze.

Maiberger holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Florida State University and a master's degree in public administration from the University of West Florida. As Assistant City Manager, he handled numerous duties, including preparing the city budget, working on planning, utility and recreation issues, and overseeing special projects such as the $750,000 upgrade of Gulf Breeze City Hall.

Maiberger, who has served as president of the Santa Rosa County United Way, is active in numerous community efforts.
